About Pathos
Pathos is a leading audio electronics manufacturing company. It was founded in the year 1994. It was started by three pioneers Gaetano Zanini, Gianni Borinato and Paolo Andriolo in the Italian city Vicenza. It is an Italian company that focuses in hybrid amplifiers and unorthodox Hi-Fi components. All their designs are something weird in both looks and circuits. Hence their motto the unorthodox approach. Their technologies combine the past, present and the future style in designs. Their products are all highly technological and offer something absolutely unique.
It all started when Gianni Borinato had a hint of a new amplifier circuit. He then asked his two friends Paolo Andriolo and Gaetano Zanini to help him in discovering the chances of the electronic. They then constructed the first model. Gaetano had a high-end shop in Vicenza, so testing and checking was not that difficult. One day they thought that the reference amplifier was broken, but actually the innovative circuit delivered outstanding sonic performance right from the very first model. Then Pathos was born and a new amplification circuit called INPOL was introduced. This circuit embraces a universal patent.
Paolo Andriolo started to create the looks as he had a desire for industrial design. Many claimed the product as the best beautiful amplifier ever manufactured. Gaetano was into the production of the components and materials. They were considered as the one and only hi-fi classic designs of those times. Finally the company Pathos was born but it was not that easy to deliver itself in the market. There were many other audio brands by the time they started Pathos. It was a tough competition for them to set the market standards. But still they had an innovative solutions and extraordinary design ideas with them. The audio industry wanted somebody who dared to follow an unusual approach in designing and manufacturing. So, Pathos came into existence and recognised in the music industry. The business philosophy went along well with the brands motto ‘the unorthodox approach’. Their goal was clear to them and they had no rules or codes to reproduce the music.
